Hey Doc,

Saw your update and blog post on Twitter. I'm experimenting with it myself and I see your point. I find it's a good way to send little teases about events or quick reviews of onferences or concerts. I use it from my computer and it has not occurred to me to use it as a short message vehicle, but then I don't do much texting either.

I'm trying to figure out how best to use these networking tools--Twitter, LinkedIn, Plaxo, maybe Facebook to promote various business activities like real estate finance, international trade and various investment deals.

The issue of attracting followers is a big one. What's the point of sending messages if no one is receiving? Also, I have not figured out if you can reply to someone you're following who is not following you (which is why originally replied on LinkedIn).

I haven't looked into Tweet Deck or any of the other cloud applications. If I start using Tweeter a lot I might.
