Cha Cha vs. 411 - shoot out on your mobile phone

Now there really is an alternative to dialing 411 on your phone - your mobile phone that is.

Cha Cha offers an SMS-based service (send "chacha") that essentially replaces 411 and also your guide book if you are visiting a new city.  You can ask Cha Cha anything you like and an answer will be zipped back to you fast. How fast? Recently a colleague asked Cha Cha a question about Cha Cha (he's an engineer and loves anything recursive) and the reply came back in a minute and a 1/2. If you think that's too long consider the options:

• Dial Tellme and do the "I'm sorry I didn't get that" dance. (I'm a big user of Tellme though I know others in my household and perhaps your's don't share the love.)
• Boot up your browser and fat finger your way to a search engine to start browsing.
